About the Role:

As a Business Analyst at SYNE, you will play a vital role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements, analyse data, and develop effective solutions that drive business growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Business Requirements Gathering:

    • Elicit, document, and validate business requirements from various stakeholders, including clients, end-users, and subject matter experts.

    • Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather detailed information.

    • Create comprehensive business requirement documents (BRDs) that clearly articulate the desired outcomes.

  • Process Analysis:

    • Analyse existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.

    • Develop process flow diagrams and documentation to visualize current and proposed processes.

    • Recommend process optimization strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Data Analysis:

    • Collect, clean, and analyse data from various sources to support decision-making.

    • Use data analysis tools and techniques to identify trends, patterns, and insights.

    • Prepare data-driven reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.

  • Solution Design:

    • Collaborate with technical teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications.

    • Develop solution alternatives and evaluate their feasibility and benefits.

    • Create detailed functional specifications that guide the development process.

  • Project Management:

    • Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.

    • Monitor project progress and identify potential risks and issues.

    • Facilitate communication between business and technical teams.

  • Stakeholder Management:

    • Manage relationships with stakeholders, ensuring their satisfaction and alignment with project goals.

    • Proactively address stakeholder concerns and provide timely updates on project progress.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of experience as a business analyst or in a similar role.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

  • Knowledge of business analysis methodologies and tools (e.g., UML, BPMN).

  • Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).

  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile).
