About the Role:
As a Human Resources Generalist at SYNE, you will play a vital role in supporting the company's growth and development by managing various HR functions. You will work closely with employees, managers, and executives to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Onboarding:
Coordinate the recruitment process, from job posting to onboarding.
Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and extend job offers to qualified candidates.
Manage the onboarding process, ensuring new hires have the necessary information and resources to succeed.
Employee Relations:
Handle employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and support.
Investigate and resolve employee complaints and disputes.
Manage employee performance reviews and development plans.
Benefits Administration:
Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and time off.
Process benefit enrolments, changes, and claims.
Ensure compliance with applicable benefits laws and regulations.
Compensation:
Assist in developing and administering compensation programs, including salary structures and incentive plans.
Conduct salary surveys and market analysis to ensure competitive compensation.
Training and Development:
Identify training needs and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
Coordinate employee training and development initiatives.
HR Policies and Procedures:
Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Performance Management:
Assist with performance management processes, including performance reviews and disciplinary actions.
Provide guidance to managers on performance management best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in human resources.
Strong understanding of HR principles and practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build relationships with employees and managers.
Proficiency in HR management software and tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in human resources.
Experience with employee relations investigations and conflict resolution.
Knowledge of employment law and regulations.
