About the Role:

As a Human Resources Generalist at SYNE, you will play a vital role in supporting the company's growth and development by managing various HR functions. You will work closely with employees, managers, and executives to ensure a positive and productive work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and Onboarding:

    • Coordinate the recruitment process, from job posting to onboarding.

    • Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and extend job offers to qualified candidates.

    • Manage the onboarding process, ensuring new hires have the necessary information and resources to succeed.

  • Employee Relations:

    • Handle employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and support.

    • Investigate and resolve employee complaints and disputes.

    • Manage employee performance reviews and development plans.

  • Benefits Administration:

    • Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and time off.

    • Process benefit enrolments, changes, and claims.

    • Ensure compliance with applicable benefits laws and regulations.

  • Compensation:

    • Assist in developing and administering compensation programs, including salary structures and incentive plans.

    • Conduct salary surveys and market analysis to ensure competitive compensation.

  • Training and Development:

    • Identify training needs and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.

    • Coordinate employee training and development initiatives.

  • HR Policies and Procedures:

    • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures.

    • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.

  • Performance Management:

    • Assist with performance management processes, including performance reviews and disciplinary actions.

    • Provide guidance to managers on performance management best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in human resources.

  • Strong understanding of HR principles and practices.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to build relationships with employees and managers.

  • Proficiency in HR management software and tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in human resources.

  • Experience with employee relations investigations and conflict resolution.

  • Knowledge of employment law and regulations.
