About the Role:
As a UI/UX Designer at SYNE, you will work closely with designers, developers, and product managers to create intuitive, visually appealing, and user-friendly interfaces.
Responsibilities:
User Research:
Conduct user research to understand user needs, preferences, and behaviours.
Create user personas and empathy maps to guide design decisions.
Wireframing and Prototyping:
Develop wireframes and prototypes to visualize the user interface and test design concepts.
Iterate on designs based on user feedback and testing results.
Interface Design:
Create visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces that align with the brand's identity.
Design responsive interfaces that work seamlessly across different devices and screen sizes.
User Testing:
Conduct usability testing to evaluate the effectiveness of designs and identify areas for improvement.
Gather user feedback and incorporate it into design iterations.
Collaboration:
Work closely with designers, developers, and product managers to ensure that designs are aligned with project goals and technical constraints.
Communicate design decisions and rationale effectively to team members.
Design Systems:
Contribute to the development and maintenance of a design system to ensure consistency and efficiency in design processes.
Accessibility:
Design interfaces that are accessible to users with disabilities, adhering to accessibility guidelines (e.g., WCAG).
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in UI/UX design.
Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional design skills.
Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch).
Understanding of user experience principles and best practices.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines.
Experience with design systems and component libraries.
