About the Role:

As a UI/UX Designer at SYNE, you will work closely with designers, developers, and product managers to create intuitive, visually appealing, and user-friendly interfaces.

Responsibilities:

• User Research:

  • Conduct user research to understand user needs, preferences, and behaviours.

  • Create user personas and empathy maps to guide design decisions.

• Wireframing and Prototyping:

  • Develop wireframes and prototypes to visualize the user interface and test design concepts.

  • Iterate on designs based on user feedback and testing results.

• Interface Design:

  • Create visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces that align with the brand's identity.

  • Design responsive interfaces that work seamlessly across different devices and screen sizes.

• User Testing:

  • Conduct usability testing to evaluate the effectiveness of designs and identify areas for improvement.

  • Gather user feedback and incorporate it into design iterations.

• Collaboration:

  • Work closely with designers, developers, and product managers to ensure that designs are aligned with project goals and technical constraints.

  • Communicate design decisions and rationale effectively to team members.

• Design Systems:

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of a design system to ensure consistency and efficiency in design processes.

• Accessibility:

  • Design interfaces that are accessible to users with disabilities, adhering to accessibility guidelines (e.g., WCAG).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction, or a related field.

• 2+ years of experience in UI/UX design.

• Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional design skills.

• Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch).

• Understanding of user experience principles and best practices.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

• Knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines.

• Experience with design systems and component libraries.
